Adaptogen Pancakes

Adaptogen Pancakes
(Dairy free, Vegan)
These pancakes are soft, fluffy and vegan. This recipe can easily be adapted to incorporate you favourite add ins: chocolate chips, blueberries, apple etc. Adding the adaptogen American ginseng adds even more nutritious to these already extremely healthy morning treat. American ginseng is the perfect addition to a healthy breakfast as it helps to boost the immune system, improve digesting and help relieve any inflammation in the stomach, making sure you feel amazing for your day ahead. 
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract 
  • 1 cup all purpose/whole wheat pastry flour 
  • 1 scoop Great Lakes Ginseng Powder 
  • 1 tbsp + 1 tsp baking powder 
  • 3 tbsp coconut or cane sugar 
  • 1/2 tsp salt 
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil for pan 
  1. Preheat pan on medium heat and melt coconut oil
  2. Whisk together almond milk, vinegar and vanilla in bowl 
  3. Add in dry ingredients (You can fold in any add in toppings at this time)
  4. Scoop batter onto heated pan; cook first side for around 2 minutes and then flip and cook for another minute or 2 
  5. Serve warm with maple syrup or jam
